# Vault Performance Fees

Adamant deducts a fee from the profit earned by each vault to pay for the cost of compounding the vaults and developing the platform.

### Normal Vaults

Performance fees vary by chain based on factors like TVL and transaction cost.

| Chain    | Performance Fee |
| -------- | --------------- |
| Polygon  | 2.9%            |
| Arbitrum | Up to 30%       |
| Cronos   | Up to 30%       |

### Smart Farming Vaults (not released yet)

Smart Farming vaults require significantly more resources to operate than normal vaults, so the performance fee is higher.
